What Is The "F Line" Mean On Monty? (Publisher Rental Program)

There are some publishers who have certain ISBNs that can only be rented.  There is also an additional fee for these.  In Monty, they show up as a separate line with F under condition.  These lines should only be canceled/refunded if the rental is.

Items that are listed as a rental only product must first be rented in order for the customer to obtain the item. Once an rental has been placed the customer should have the option to purchase or extend the rental through their my account. 

Customers can identify these items as below: 

1. This screenshot below is an example of a RENTAL EDITION ONLY 
2. This screenshot below is an example of a book that you can purchase right away without renting it but still has an option to Rent.

Purchase prices for publisher rental products can vary - but the price is typically list price minus the rental cost. If a customer contacts us before the item has been initially rented inquiring about how much it's going to cost to purchase you should instruct them that the publisher sets that pricing and we don't have access to it until after the initial rental is completed. 

If a customer returns a damage rental only item to us - we are unable to return the item  to them. The publisher has contracted us to confiscate and return the damaged copies to them.
