If a customer contacts us and says that they returned their rental(s) to the school, please ask for the following information when sending an inquiry:
- Did you get a receipt (if so, please provide a picture)?
- When did you return it? (Estimated date)
- Where did you return it? (e.g.: Was it Campus Store, Res Life, Library)
- Who did you return it to?
- Did you get cash back?
If the customer has a receipt and sends a picture, reach out via Side Conversations. If everything looks good with the receipt, we can resolve the issue on the spot.
We need to know number 5 because sometimes they inadvertently sell rented items. If they did sell the book(s) back to us, we need to recoup the money that they were paid.
