Items that are identified as “RBL” items, which means Rental Blacklist Items, can be seen in the order under ISBN information. These are items that you wouldn’t typically consider rental material.
- You might see access cards, sewing kits, loose-leaf items, or any number of things.
- If an item is a known access card, and is marked as an RBL item, the order status should automatically move to RWOA or- Return not required – access card.
- If we sent out a loose-leaf as a rental and it is marked as a RBL item, as long as it seems like most of the pages are there and in order, we don’t charge the customer for creasing and normal wear and tear.
- For the most part, RBL's can be treated like normal rental returns. If they are ACs or workbooks that have to be written in, these can be RWOA for the AC's, and RWO for workbooks. Only review this if the customer questions if they need to return a rental.
